Well, we have finally moved into our new home. It is really nice, but still a mess! I really dislike unpacking more than packing! It is getting better, but I feel like there is still so much to do! The girls are really adjusting. Addy loves her new room and is actually sleeping in her own bed! Yeah! She does miss her friends, though! I think once school starts and she is going to daycare it will be better because she will have other kids to play with.
Emmerson is doing well, too! She has been rolling over for a while, but is now rolling both ways as well as sitting up by herself! She even tries to crawl! I can't believe she is already 5 months old! She grabs at things now, too! It is so neat to watch her. She is cutting her 2 bottom teeth, so she has lots of drool, but is still a pretty happy baby!
I haven't really done much since our move, just stayed home and unpacked. I have cooked a lot more because there isn't as many restaurants! We will definitely save money! Shay has been working and is really enjoying that.
Steve and Laurie stopped by on their way home from coaching school. It was good to see them. Addy and Avery had a great time playing together again. We can't wait to go to their new house at some point. It was great to see familiar, friendly faces!
We are still praying for our other house to sell!! I will feel much better once that is done!

I've been everywhere, man!
Have you ever heard that song where the guy lists all the places he's been? That is what I feel like it has been for us this past month! We have traveled so much! We had to head back to our hometown to sort out moving details. That has been a majority of our trips! We bought a house and have been trying to finalize all the details of that! I am really excited about the new house, but am just praying very hard for the old one to sell quickly!
We went to a wedding in Dallas, it was beautiful and we had a good time. Thanks mom for coming along to help with the girls! Addy thought Uncle Craig looked very handsome in his tux! Congrats to Clifton and Erica! We were able to stop and see the Bieras at their fireworks stand! Addy and Avery had fun playing for a little bit! WE miss seeing you guys!
While on our Dallas trip, Tracy called with shocking yet exciting news! I am so grateful I could be there for her, even over the phone! We know the new baby is going to be a blessing! I love you, Tracy and will be there for you, no matter how far away I am!
We were back at our current home for a few days and then it was back to spend the 4th with the family! Addy loved the fireworks this year. Last year we sat really close and it was too loud for her. For a girl who has spent her life a loud football/basketball games, she is terrified of loud noises! The parade was also fun. We sat with some old, good friends! We haven't been able to spend much time with Chad and Gina because of living so far away, but we always enjoy the time with them. Shay and I were able to go see their house and vist more that evening! We love you guys and are looking forward to spending more time with you when we finally move and get closer!
After the 4th, it was off to the BEACH! Addy has been wanting to go the beach for a while, so Grams and Gee planned our family trip with them at the beach. We went to San Antonio for a night and then to Port Aransas for a couple of days. Addy loved playing in the sand. She didn't want to get in the water, but loved building sand castles! I will post pics when I get them all downloaded! We had a great time, but are all really tired. Emmerson just hung out...she liked the sand as well, she wanted to put it in her mouth. That is pretty much what she wants to do with everything right now since she is teething. We think she is getting 2 bottom teeth!! She is still such a great baby!
We took her for her 4mo. shots earlier this month and she has grown so much. The dr. said she is doing great! Very tall! I am lucky that is looks like both of my girls got the tall gene! She is also rolling over! Back to tummy..she gets mad when she gets over and can't get back! It looks like she is trying to scoot when she is on her tummy...I don't think I am ready for crawling! Addy crawled pretty early, so I expect Em to as well because she watches her big sis running around everywhere!
We thank the Lord daily for being able to go and do! Even though we feel like we have run ragid, we are so greatful!
