Summer is finally here! I am so glad for school to be out. Summer has already proven to be very busy for the Easterwoods! We have been running a lot already for only being out of school for a week!
Well, I guess I can share.....for those of you who don't know, we are moving! Shay got a new position as Co-defensive coordinator, head track coach, and assistant powerlifting at a small school near our hometown. We are really excited to be moving close to family, but along with moving, comes stress!
I will be teaching 5th and 6th grade math. It will be a new adventure, but a welcome one..it will be nice not to teach every subject!
Addy is excited to be moving closer to grandparents, but sad to be leaving her wonderful friends and babysitter! I am really sad, too, but happy at the same time. I know it is a good move for us! Some friends of ours that coached with us, are there, so that makes it exciting as well.
So, as you can see, our summer is busy. We are praying for our house to sell quickly, as well as making arrangements for our new home. We really live by Jer. 29:11" For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." So, we really feel that we are making the right decision, and things will work out because we have FAITH! Please pray for us as we do all of these things, the more prayer, the better! I will keep you posted on all of the events!
